Daily Routine of My Life

3 Best Essays on “Daily Routine of My Life”

I am a student. Hence my daily life follows a very simple routine. It is more or less the same except on Sunday. I once heard from my teacher that early rising is the father of three blessings- healthy, wealth, and wisdom. Since then I have been rising early in the morning. I get up at 4 o’clock.

After doing my morning duties. I take bath in cold water. I put on my clean clothes and go to the temple. It is my mother’s wish that I should begin the day’s work with a prayer to God.

Then I take my breakfast. It consists of a few biscuits and a glass of milk. Then I sit at my books. I read them till 8 a.m. During three hours I practically finish all the reading of my lessons. Then I complete the home tasks on different subjects. I do not believe in eleventh-hour preparations. I know that labor will lead to success. At 9 I take my meal. I dress myself. I brush my shoes. At 9.30 I start for my school with my friend, Sohan on cycles.

The school begins at 10 a.m. I am at school ten minutes earlier. I do not take much interest in school work. In every period the teacher seems to be talking to the dullest boys. I often feel that there is no teaching for a brilliant boy. Hence I hate the classroom atmosphere still I attend to what each teacher says. I pay full respect to every teacher. Hence I learn different subjects according to the school timetable. In the first period, I learn English. In the last period, I learn History

During recess, I go to the canteen. I take tea there. After I play for some time with my friends. I also go to the library to borrow books. As soon as the recess ends. I go to my class to study for the last four periods. Recess makes us fresh for further study.

The school breaks up at 4 p.m. I return home at about 4.30 p.m. having taken the light lunch I take a rest for fifteen minutes. At 5 p.m. physical exercise in the gymnasium. Here is spend half an hour. My body beings to perspire. Then I run to the playground to take part in different games. My best interest goes to hockey. It is the game that refreshes my mind and makes me active. Then I get back home and take a cold bath. Now I feel myself light. After having my dinner I take an evening walk. Then I sat by the side of my mother. She tells me good stories. At about 140 p.m. I go to bed.

One Sunday and other holidays.  I sometimes go to the cinema for entertainment. At other times I go to visit my friends. On holidays there is a break in the daily routine. But I never break the golden rule of “ early to bed and early to rise.” Regularity in work has taught me the value of time.

My Daily Routine

Or

The Daily Routine of My Life

Planning the schedule for the day is a very good habit. It helps us making correct use of the time that is at our disposal. This also makes a person regular and punctual, besides it decreases the workload on a person. In this way, he becomes more organized and free from tension.

I was taught this principle very early in life. Initially, I did not take it very seriously, however as the benefits of an organized day became obvious to me, I began to take this principle very seriously.

I get up very early in the morning. I brush my teeth and free myself from nature’s call. I then get dressed and go for a morning walk. I come back from the walk-in about an hour’s time. On the way back I pick up the milk from the milk booth. I reach home and go straight away to take my bath. After this, I take out my books and revise my lessons for the day. I then pack my bag according to the day’s school timetable. By this time my mother places the morning breakfast on the dining table. My breakfast consists of a glass of milk, bean sprouts, curd, and some fruit.

I leave for school at about 8.15 a.m. It takes about half an hour to reach the school. I enter the school gates at 8.45 a.m. At 9 am the assembly begins after which at 9.30 the classes commence.

My school gets over at about 3.15 in the evening. I reach home at 3.45 pin. I take off my school uniform and take some light snacks. I then lay down and take an hour’s nap and at 4.30 pm, I get up and wash my face. I then sit down to finish the day’s homework. I usually go out to play at 5.45 pm. I play for an hour. After which I come back home and drink a glass of milk. Thus refreshed I again sit down to finish the remaining homework.

After completing the home work I eat my dinner I then sit with my parents and watch some television programs. I go to bed at about 10 in the night.

In this way, my day comes to an end. All these years, while I have been practicing the daily schedule, there have been very few instances when I have had to take a break from this schedule. I try to follow it even on the days of the holiday. On these days, the school is substituted to revision of the lessons and pursuit of my hobby of reading.
