You see some people in your neighborhood treat stray animals with cruelty. You find it disturbing. With your partner discuss:

1. How you could discourage them from doing so?
2. Ways you could spread awareness about kindness towards animals.

Candidate  A : Hey Vibla did you read the news about some dogs ill treated by boys playing in the garden.

Candidate  B : Oh ! Yes, and I feel very disturbed at such news.

Candidate  A : I think people have become cruel and senseless in their treatment towards animals.

Candidate  B : And this is very bad. Animals are also the creations of God. They do have a right to live.

Candidate  A : Every day we see people doing these things we must do something.

Candidate  B : Yes, we can tell them that cruelty to animals is an offence and morally wrong

Candidate  A : We can approach the school administration and teachers to organize some activities to spread awareness about this matter.

Candidate  B : Yes, we may take out rallies  and put up posters to spread the message of love and compassion for animals. They are an important part of our ecology and life.

Candidate  A : Yes, you are right. Let’s talk to classmates family members, friends , relatives and everyone known to us on this issue.

Candidate  B : Ok ! We shall make beginning.
