491. Some fish hold their eggs in their mouth for several weeks until the eggs are ready to hatch.

492. The shark has a constant and unlimited supply of teeth, set in layered rows of the gum. If a tooth falls out, a tooth from another layer takes it place. It may shed as many as 50,000 teeth in its lifetime.
